When Steven and Matt approached Arboreal Edge, they had a thriving traditional high ropes program but found a gap in their offerings for younger campers. They needed a solution that would be both engaging and accessible for all age groups, ensuring an inclusive and challenging experience for their entire camp community.

Recognizing this need, our team at Arboreal Edge proposed an innovative solution: a smart belayed course with a staircase entry. This design not only facilitated easy access but also ensured that groups of various ages could be simultaneously challenged and elevated into the air, fostering a sense of unity and achievement.

We recommended the 4x4 element Koala 16 for its versatility and compact design. With a 50’x50’ footprint, it seamlessly integrated into their existing landscape without overwhelming the space. This element served as an excellent introduction to ropes course progression, allowing younger campers to gain confidence and skills in a supportive environment.

The project was a collaborative effort, with our team working closely with Steven and Matt to ensure the course met their specific needs and exceeded their expectations. The smart belayed system provided an additional layer of safety and ease of use, making it ideal for younger participants who might be new to high ropes activities.

The outcome was a dynamic and engaging ropes course that not only filled the program void but also enhanced the overall camp experience. Younger campers could now participate in high ropes activities, boosting their confidence and fostering a sense of adventure. The smart belayed course quickly became a favorite among campers and staff alike, demonstrating Arboreal Edge’s commitment to creating inclusive, innovative, and safe outdoor adventure solutions.

Steven and Matt were thrilled with the results, and their feedback highlighted the positive impact the new course had on their camp program. At Arboreal Edge, we are dedicated to delivering customized solutions that meet our clients' unique needs, and this project was a testament to our ability to innovate and adapt to ensure every camper has an unforgettable experience.
