Kris and the Ebner camps have been valued partners of Arboreal Edge since our early days. So, when the time came to update Camp Awosting, we knew it had to be something truly extraordinary. The project presented a unique set of challenges, primarily due to access issues and finding the perfect site for the new installation. However, we were ready to tackle these obstacles head-on.

Our solution was both innovative and efficient. We identified an old tennis court as the ideal site for the new ropes course, despite its smaller footprint. This choice required precision and ingenuity to ensure we could deliver an exceptional experience within the limited space. By drilling into the ledge, we successfully installed a 36-element smart belayed course. This advanced system guarantees maximum safety and ease of use, allowing campers of all skill levels to participate and enjoy the high ropes activities.

To further enhance the course, we included a full climbing tower. This tower provides an exciting vertical challenge, helping campers build strength, confidence, and climbing skills. But we didn’t stop there; we added a quick flight jump station to offer an adrenaline-pumping experience for thrill-seekers. This feature allows campers to test their courage and feel the exhilaration of a free fall within a controlled and safe environment.

In addition, we incorporated a 5-zip canopy tour into the design. This zipline course offers campers a unique perspective of the campgrounds as they soar above the trees, experiencing the thrill of speed and height. The canopy tour not only adds excitement but also encourages team building and camaraderie among campers as they navigate the course together.

Throughout the project, our team worked closely with Kris and the Ebner camps to ensure every detail met their specific needs and expectations. The result is a breathtaking, multi-functional ropes course that perfectly fits into the camp’s landscape while providing an unforgettable experience for the campers.
